For sale is a custom made BEN TARRELL working ranch saddle from Boise, Idaho. This "using" saddle is in excellent working condition. The leather is exceptionally think yet butter soft. The fleece underneath is still thick and all there. The original stirrups are carved with all the stitching intact. This rig has no issues! If you've ever seen one of Ben's saddles in person, you can't help but notice the craftsmanship. Now, the saddle will NOT fit a broad-backed horse. It's comparable to a 90 degree bar spread from what I can tell, so it will fit a working type quarter horse in good shape and with some withers. It's extremely comfortable with the 4" cantle. It has a very nice leather nameplate behind the cantle with a horse stamped on it. I measure the saddle to be 16" (see picture). These rigs, in this shape especially, are typically priced from $2500 and up, so my price is firm. This saddle is WELL WORTH THE MONEY. It has the flat-plate rigging, back billets and girth.
